Who we are
Wblam Mould Removal Ltd (company number 16675423), registered office 68 Primrose Road, London E18 1DE, is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can contact us about privacy at contact@wblam.co.uk or on 07488 848 594.
What we collect
- Survey requests and enquiries: the type of client you are, your name, phone number, email address and the property postcode, plus anything you tell us by phone, email or WhatsApp, including photographs.
- Job information: property address, access arrangements, occupant contact details you pass to us, survey findings, photographs, moisture readings, quotes, invoices and correspondence.
- How you found us: when you send the form, it also includes the page you were on, the website or campaign that referred you (for example search engine, advert tags such as UTM parameters and click identifiers), the pages viewed in that visit, device type, screen size and browser language. This is stored in your browser and sent only with the form.
- Website analytics and advertising: if you agree to cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads (through Google Tag Manager) record how the site is used and whether adverts lead to enquiries.
How we use it and why
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey, prepare a quote and carry out and document the work. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and performing that contract.
- To contact occupants about access when a landlord, agent or housing provider asks us to. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest, and our client's, in getting the work done.
- To keep records of work, guarantees and accounts. The lawful basis is legal obligation and legitimate interests.
- To understand which pages and adverts bring enquiries, so we spend marketing budget sensibly. The lawful basis is legitimate interests for the referral details sent with the form, and consent for analytics and advertising cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We use trusted providers to run the business: Google (form processing, spreadsheets, email, analytics and advertising), Telegram (internal notification of new enquiries to our team), our website host, and accounting software. Where a landlord, agent or housing provider instructed the work, we share the report and job details with them. We may share data if the law requires it.
Some providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months.
- Job records, reports, photographs and invoices: 6 years after the work, for accounting and guarantee purposes.
- Analytics data: according to the retention settings in Google Analytics, no longer than 14 months.
Cookies
Essential storage keeps the site working and remembers how you arrived, so it can be included with your enquiry. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set if you agree to them, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email contact@wblam.co.uk. We reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
